I own this movie, along with many other classic animated Christmas shows (gotta love Rankin&Bass!), and we watch them all every year. A heartwarming classic.

I dearly love the animated special, but the book leaves me indifferent. Unlike, to name two Christmas favorite reads, How the Grinch Stole Christmas! and A Christmas Carol.
