A drama/romance fiction story about a family whose daughter Julia has a boyfriend but her mum takes an interest in him as her love life with her hubby had seemed to not be as exciting as it once was.
So she wants some fun with him.
Can he avoid a family break-up?

Chapter 3
Chapter 3.
Around about four thirty in the afternoon, Julia starts to get ready for the party.
Half-hour later, Tony arrives dressed and ready to go to the party.
“Hello Julia,” he says, as she opens her front door in her dressing gown.
“All right there, not ready yet then?” says Tony.
“I will be shortly, won’t be a minute,” she says when shutting the front door.
“Not knowing who is going to be there, it could be an interesting evening,” Tony says.
“I said the same thing yesterday,” Julia replies.
Half an hour later, Julia was dressed and ready to go.
“I’m ready, are you all set Tony?” Julia asks.
“Yes,” replies Tony and off they go to Julia’s parents.
They arrive at Julia’s parents and Sandra answers.
“Come on in,” she says and as they walk through the door, Sandra gives a smile at Tony.
“Where’s dad?” Julia asks.
“I did manage to get a friend of his to keep him company for a few hours,” her mum replied.
“Who else is coming?” Julia asks.
“Uncle Sam and Auntie Linda plus others,” her mum says.
“It’ll be nice to see them again,” says Julia
“Sit down and make yourself comfortable,” says Sandra.
A little while later, a ring on the doorbell.
It was Sam and Linda along with some friends that Sandra had invited.
“Come on in all of you,” Sandra says to them.
“Where is the birthday person then,” asks somebody?
“I got him occupied for a while, so I could set this all up” she says.
All of a sudden, somebody hears the back gate.
Julia peeps out the windows and saw that it was David.
“It’s Dad, mum” Julia says.
“Everybody quiet,” says Sandra and turns the lights out.
David walks through the back door and turns the lights on.
As he does, everybody shouts, “SURPRISE!!!!!!”
David was taken aback by what he had walked into.
Everybody started singing happy birthday to him.
“Thank you, very much,” says David, after they sang happy birthday to him.
“What a surprise to see some of you,” he goes.
“So this is why my mate asked me to go out with him?” David says.
“So you could set all this up for my surprise birthday party,” he says also.
“Yes,” replied Sandra.
“You are a darling,” he says and goes and gets a can of lager out of the fridge.
Meanwhile, Julia and Tony were enjoying themselves; Julia was introducing Tony to her relatives.
“Hello Linda, how are you?” Julia asks.
“I am fine thank you” Linda replies.
“This is my boyfriend Tony,” says Julia.
“Nice to meet you” Linda says.
“While you two catch up with things, I’ll go and mingle around.” Tony says to Julia.
“Ok then,” replied Julia.
At that time, David had gone upstairs to get changed; Sandra went up to Tony, as he was on his own.
“How are you then?” she asks Tony.
“I’m fine and enjoying myself” he goes.
“You are very good looking,” she says.
“Thanks,” says Tony.
“You look young yourself,” he says.
“How old are you now?” Sandra asks.
“I’m twenty-six years old now,” Tony replies.
“I like you a lot,” say Sandra.
“Why is that?” asks Tony.
Julia noticed Tony and her mum having a good laugh together, after she finished catching up on things with Linda, so she goes up to them.
“Would you like a dance?” she says to Tony.
“Ok then,” he replies and they start dancing.
Sandra was feeling happy with herself and was starting to have some feelings for Tony after having a good laugh with a younger man.
“You get on well with my mum I notice,” Julia says to Tony.
“It seems like we do,” replied Tony and they carried on dancing.
“As we thought, it was going to be a good night tonight and so far it is,” says Julia.
Tony was looking over towards Sandra, smiling at her and she smiled back at him.
