I can't say enough about this series. This book mainly follows the characters at Highgarden and King's Landing.Love seeing Cersei getting her just dues!
The thing that astonishes me, continually, is the fans who cannot see it and, in some cases, cannot even perceive that the quality has fallen off disastrously as he got mired in unimportant sub-plots. He reminds me of a story told by one my bosses I used to have a long time ago. This guy was head di...
The War of the Five Kings is all but over with only a few holdouts remaining in the realm, however as Westeros attempts to recover enough before winter hits it appears that more carrion will be on the menu of A Feast for Crows. The fourth installment of George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire s...
I haven't fully reread this book since it was first released. It would be tedious for me to get into just why this book was a crushing disappointment when I read it the first time, so I won't. Other reviewers have cut into the context behind the seemingly-over-the-top reaction against 'Feast' I will...
I still really liked this book. I'm invested in the characters and want to read about them more and more. But, this book is nowhere near as great as the others. Especially the way the last one ended I expected to be blown away by this one. I will definitely continue reading the series though.

Martin claims in the back of this novel that he had written so much material for this book that he had to divide it into two novels, the other being my future read, A Dance With Dragons. However, Martin took half the characters and wro...
Am I becoming desensitized to these books, or was this one really not as brutal as the ones that came before it? At any rate, I found this one to be less "hard" to read because of the sheer harshness of Martin's world. Although many of the standard characters did not make an appearance -- most notab...
Wow! I wonder! It really differs from the TV series! There are many new and deferent events. I'm truly surprised - positively surprised!Love it Love it Love it!
I found this book a little slower than the others in the series. It still fills in information, but I wonder if Martin is spreading himself too thin over all these lands and families? He's dividing up the characters into differnt books at this point. I wonder if they'll all come together again in th...
This book is a lot of people's least favorite in the series so far. Not so for me. I really like the new POV characters. I can see why some folks might be disappointed though. This book coming after the monster that is A storm of swords. This is my 3rd time reading this series and this book, I still...
