I am desperately searching for new UF series to love. This won't be it. It had a solid world-building though I didn't love it - especially the "revenant" part was not exactly my cup of tea. But the tie between the paranormal abilities and the feeding/bond thingy was at least original. What I d...

Marnie had retired her position as a consulting forensic psychic for the F B I six weeks earlier after her first and only case. Supervisory Special Agent Gary Chapel and Special Agent Mark Batten were in Marnie’s office at her desk, Agent Batten had been a vampire hunter in a former life.Battan was ...

Am I stupid? I can't understand what anyone is saying. We're dropped right into a meeting where everyone refers to past events with zero context. Then they just keep going on and on about things like I'm supposed to know wtf they're referring to, but I don't. The words they're using don't make any s...

Mmm this is a hard one to review I think. I liked it well enough, I just don't like Harry. I don't know perhaps he will redeem himself, but right now he's an ass. I think the reason why devious sneaky harry wants to keep Mark around is so he can have Chapel. this slightly bothers me on MJ's behalf (yes im going to feel her ...

I still love this series. Witty, paranormal, adventure/mysteries with Marnie and the team. If you haven't read this series yet and like the sound of it, I definitely recommend you buy it. Long but oh, so good. P.S. I'm still holding out for a Mark Batten/Marnie Baranuik full on romance--maybe ...

Excellent opportunity to see Marnie put her psychic skills to use in a different, but equally important way. Great plotting for such a short story.Overall rating: 4.5/5.0 stars.Reviewed for Bitten by Books. http://bittenbybooks.com.

This is a crazy series and this second book is even crazier than the first. The dialogue is so ridiculously inappropriate at times, and the characters are pretty out there. But I really enjoy this series and this book. There is some really disturbing content, so be warned.Overall rating: 4.5/5.0 st...
