4.5 Dunk and Egg
Was not as bloody and did not have as much nudity as the "A Song of Ice and Fire"series. It was a book of a growing friendship between a knight and his squire. I really enjoyed this book probably because of the bond these two shared.

4.0 A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: Being the Adventures of Ser Duncan the Tall, and His Squire, Egg
These 3 prequel novellas to the Game of Thrones series have it all, jousting knights, intrigue, rebellion, etc. If they are any indication, I can't wait to read the Game of Thrones books!

4.0 A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms
This was, dare I say, almost fluffy. Enjoyed it despite the confusion that ensues at the end.

4.5 starsI'm a fan of Game of Thrones, but I haven't read any of A Song of Ice and Fire. I thought I would check out this prequel before diving into the main books. I really liked it, way more than I was expecting, especially the further I got. All the main family names that everyone is familiar ...

4.0 Back in the mood for GoT.
I really enjoyed meeting characters I've read about in the Song of Ice and Fire series. It was sort of a slow read with plenty of blood and gore and political intrigue but nothing on the level of the other books. I'm happy I read it and any fan of the series would enjoy it, too, I think.
