Apparently I need more heroine tags. I really enjoyed Kate in this one. That said, it was a little bit of a miss for me...but only just. I enjoyed the terse and serious Thorne, Kate was a strong, patient, kind character. I really saw her warmth and dug how self-assured she was. Their relationship wa...

22/10 - This was quite good. I had a couple of chuckles here and there, but ultimately Thorne's attitude towards his own self-worth was more irritating than the story was good. His incessant refusal to believe that he was good enough for Kate grated on my nerves. I don't like heroes who think they k...

A Lady by Midnight is a fairy tale, a quite unlikely, but heart-rending fairy tale. I enjoyed the story of Kate and Thorne, who were already introduced in the previous books. Thorne thinks he is unsuitable and undeserving of Kate, who only ever wanted a family of her own.

Brace yourselves: this is a rave review for the Spindle Cove series by Tessa Dare. I actually read them out of order because I got A Week to Be Wicked when it was on sale. And from there, I knew I'd have to read all the rest. It's not that they don't stand alone, but there are enough hints at the...

Not sure why I took so long to pick this up. The last two books in this series I enjoyed very much and this one was no different. Kate and Thorne were characters previously introduced and I was looking forward to their story. There were a few eye-roll moments (he is so BIG, will he FIT?), but the...

This was every bit as wonderful as is expected of Tessa Dare. The romance was beautiful and the character's were so detailed. I absolutely LOVED Badger! He made me think of my puppies and how much I love them:)Kate was a remarkable woman. I always admire teachers, and she loved and believed in her s...

Eclectic Universe - Homeschooling Parent
Not my favorite author, good characters, good plot, just a little too dark for me.
