3.5 stars. Had one of the best lines I've read this year. Made me stop & read it to hubby. "If you were the last willing man in town, I would become a lesbian."I love a friends to lovers story, and really liked both Anna and Max, though I did think that Anna should have trusted Max more at the end.
I had heard some great things about this book, so I was very disappointed that for some reason I just couldn't get into it. Max and Anna did nothing for me, and I wasn't really feeling the chemistry between them.

Max and Anna are great characters and so obviously a wonderful couple (even though you have to hit Anna over the head for her to realize it) I was confused about the why some of the characters like Freddy and Chris were there.
