This book and the controversy circus surrounding it are about a decade old, so in case you don't remember: this book, marketed as a non-fiction account of James Frey's recovery from addiction, rocketed to success after it was chosen for Oprah's Book club. The Smoking Gun later revealed Frey to be a ...
Originally found on my book blog!Actual rating: 4.5 starsMy review:“I am an Alcoholic and I am a drug Addict and I am a Criminal.”When I first started reading this book, I had no idea about the controversy with this book. I feel like to write an honest review, I can’t not mention the controversy and...
It gets 4 stars because the farking font and free association paragraph style KILLED me (otherwise, it's probably 4.25). I never read this when Oprah told me to and I still didn't read it when she told me not to. I picked it up now because it popped up on about 10 different "Kelly, stop avoiding i...
God this book is tedious. If you want a guide to hackneyed literary artifice, A Million Little Pieces is an object lesson.I read this book because of the hype and subsequent outrage at its fraudulence in 06-07. I think his a...

James Frey è straordinario nella sua descrizione di un personaggio che lotta per liberarsi dall’ossessione di alcool e droga. Leggere quello che ha passato è totalmen...
It was not something that i would usually read but then this book teaches you a lot. I couldn't really relate to James because I have never been to rehab nor was I ever a junkie but still this book gives you a lot to think about. Very recommended read. :)
Made up or not, I don't care, I love this book.Written in a unique style, this page turner tells the story of a drug addict and his journey to get clean.I was addicted.
