Maybe I should start re-reading certain books that I didnĀ“t seem to like the first time around. I end up loving some of them on my second read. The mystery was an intriguing one, I liked the small-town setting and the cast of weird villagers and even though I still knew the identity of the murdere...
What a great look at the Miss Marple series. This one has an interesting cast of characters, Miss Marple showing everyone up, and references to characters that many in the series should know by now, such as Sir Henry Clithering. I think my problem here is I've read it and watched it so many times nothing is a surprise. The narration was good. I especially liked the German cook.
This one had quite a few twists and turns. I did try to guess this time, and I completely failed. I'm not sure that's a good thing or not, since I do like guessing and being right, but being wrong means it wasn't an obvious suspect.
