Very well written historical children's book.
Sweet illustrations, reminiscent of Hugo Cabret (I was surprised to learn that Cole also illustrates Katy Duck). But despite exciting events and an intriguing historical context, I thought the story was dull. It's a mouse. I guess I've never really been into animal stories, and I haven't read many.
Great illustrations and a wonderful story with a charming, intrepid mouse at its center.
