Slooooow pacing and TMI inner monologue killed this one for me. It started off strong. I haven't read the other books, but I like Lori Foster, and this one reads well as a stand alone. I don't love romantic suspense, but I do like books with heroes/heroines with "tortured pasts." Well it doesn't ge...
A large part me thinks this book and this whole series is ridiculous fluff but a bigger part of me just does not seem to care. I love Foster's writing, I love the overly spunky and overly alpha heros who are always nice and well hung. There is no way no matter how "special" as the boys insist she is...
I was not sure how much I would like this one....I was not sure if I liked Arizona when we met her in [bc:Savor the Danger|9920151|Savor the Danger (Men Who Walk the Edge of Honor, #3)|Lori Foster|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1327941873s/9920151.jpg|14812865] but she really grew on me ...
The fourth book in the series, I think is my most favorite to date. I just loved Arizona! She was a fun character. Her honesty and new outlook on everything was refreshing. She and Spencer were perfect together. As always a great read from Ms. Foster!
How to rate this....how to rate this? I'm not sure. I didn't think that Arizona and Spencer were all that well matched even though everyone kept saying how much they were in the book. I felt like she still had a lot of growing up to do. Spencer was well beyond. With that aside though, I thought th...
After the fiasco that was the previous book where the h seemed incapable of defending herself against a gnat (and spent most of the book bitching about the H, her brother, and his partner's attempts at protecting her), this was a relief - a strong h (a bit prickly but I can relate to a h who seeks r...
Another great book for Lori Foster. A Perfect Storm was a great addition for Men Who Walk the Edge of Honor series. If you read one in the series you have to read them all.
4.5 for me. This book ate my brain. I started it last night and I just finished it...aside from getting my kids to school I read this book! I was engrossed in Arizona and Spencer's story. Arizona drove me crazy at first but knowing her past I kinda knew I had to go with it. But Spencer was THE ...
Ahhh... Arizona's story broke my heart! I felt so sad for what she went through, but was happy to see she came out on top! She was brave and kick ass and I have to say, I love a book where the leading female is kick ass! Spencer was hot and I'm glad he was brought into the dynamic trio :) I'm sad th...
