I love memoirs and after hearing about this one I was desperate to get my hands on it. When I finally did get a chance to read it I was a little disappointed. Memoir focuses on Brown's days as an alcoholic & drug addict. She's got a singular voice, and a fascinating story. I wanted more about her life as a sober lawyer. Perhaps she'll flesh out that part of her life in a new book. Recommended.
