Remembered I had this when I found it in the bathroom (yes, I have done the stereotypical dad thing of reading on the throne). Jimmy's had an interesting life, and it's got more fatherhood anecdotes to boot.
I'm a big Buffett fan, so I enjoyed a lot of this book just for that reason. He does sometimes take the long way 'round telling his story, but much of it was interesting.
On the one hand, it's pretty cool that a guy makes a decent living doing just what he wants to do, and good on him. On the other hand, I have a hard time equating "aging beach bum" with "pirate" and really dislike the self-aggrandizing of it. So, eh, read it if you a Buffett fan, otherwise don't b...
