by Lorraine Heath
Very enjoyable story but fairly predictable story of love and loss and love again.
This is hovering between a 3.7 and a 4. I really enjoyed a lot about this book except for the "twist" and the convenient end of the "twist".
3.5 stars
A bittersweet read. If you want to read about a English rogue who finally finds something worth loving - Texas and a young widow with three young children, this is the read for you.
I love Lorraine Heath's westerns!! This book was no exception. Abbie and Grayson were a couple that my heart went out to, actually they broke my heart a few times. Very touching, absorbing book. (some good steam in there too!) Looking forward to reading the other two in the series.
a 3.75 really. Something was missing. I loved Grayson. But felt like I never got to know Abbie well enough to feel the love.I will say, though, the epilogue brought a little tear to my eye......
