3.5 Stars. I really enjoyed the last 45% of this book. So I am glad I pushed through and didn’t shelve this one. It took me four tries after putting it down and deciding I had better things to do. Not what you want to hear about a book. But MAN! When things finally start, it's worth the slow start. ...
I doesn't have a good impression of Dante as a male lead. I had read plenty of male leads that varies from being a jerk, manwhore, asshole and whatnot, but I just don't get Dante. He didn't manage to lure me to continue reading.

A Rush of Wings had the potential to be a totally awesome paranormal novel: It was set in New Orleans, which in my opinion is the perfect place for things that go bump in the night. The main character Dante is the lead singer for a goth/punk rock band called Inferno, so there is a cool factor there....
