I discovered this as an in-flight audiobook on a recent long-haul trip, and passed a few happy hours with James Bowen and his loyal cat. I'm only sorry that it must have been abridged, as the full length audiobook is 6 hours in total and it was considerably less than that. I do have it as an e book ...

This is a true story of how a stray cat found down-on-his-luck James Bowen. It tells of the challenges Bowen has with drug addiction and homelessness, and on top of that, of getting and holding onto a job, and at the same time, earning enough to feed himself and the cat, Bob. It's not a depressing r...

I personally love this kind of book. Bob is so cute and it makes me want to have a cat like him. James is an inspiration to all homeless people. After reading this book, I've ended up watching Bob's videos on Youtube.

Una storia vera, che scalda il cuore. Di amicizia e guarigione. Di come un piccolo amico a quattro zampe è stato il fattore decisivo per un radicale cambiamento di vita. Heartwarming!

I'm typing this as my ginger cat (called Orlando) sits on the laptop charger (nic...

Only a heartless, soulless, insufferable dolt would not be profoundly moved by this heartwarming story of a stray cat who transforms the life of a man down on his luck.

The only reason this doesn't get five stars is because of the language. And because he actually lied in his book when he said he didn't charge for pictures of Bob - I've been on youtube. But the book was incredibly beautiful, and people who says cats don't have personality can jump of a building, pl...

This is a wonderful feel good true story about a street Cat named Bob and his owner a recovering heroin addict and the streets of London. I don’t read books about animals but this sure pulled at my heart strings and made me realise everybody should experience the love of a pet at least once in the...
