I didn't love this one as much as I loved promises, but it was good. I thought Angelo was a great character and he really made the book for me. I would love to know more about him and I'm glad that the next book is about this couple as well. I'm definitely going to continue with this series.

I think I'm among the minority who actually liked this better than Promises. I know a lot of people were turned off by the dual first person narrative. I personally don't see how she could have written it any other way. First person is so much more intimate than third, and this was the kind of story...
4.5 stars. Very good m/m romance about a video store owner who hires one of his customers. They become best friends and… :) I would definitely recommend that you read Sexton’s book Promises first, as there’s a bit of character congruence. Definitely shouldn’t be a hardship, since both are good reads...
