Arthur Van Kraft is a journalist, artist and writer. His career as the News Director of a Los Angeles area National Public Radio affiliate produced hundreds of in-depth features. His stories as a social observer and writer garnered him the National Communicators Award and an R.T.N.A. Golden Mike Award. Kraft continued to paint throughout his writing career. The vibrant allegorical paintings became just another way to describe the world. Kraft is represented by two Los Angeles galleries. "I am compelled to mention my credentials because writers and artists are largely a self appointed lot. I try to accomplish rather than achieve, but credibility is elusive. There are surely brilliant creations that will remain in obscurity, simply because the artists' were unable to draw attention to them.
