I actually really enjoyed the first two of these books. But this one rolled around to the climax...and, wait, what? Where's the logic? There's no logic to this. Nobody's asking the dumb-ass "but isn't this putting all our eggs in one really flimsy effing basket?" questions. And I got partway through...

(Description nicked from B&N.com.) “Nearly 100 years before the events of Orson Scott Card’s bestselling novel Ender’s Game, humans were just beginning to step off Earth and out into the Solar System. A thin web of ships in both asteroid belts; a few stations; a corporate settlement on Luna. No on...

(Description nicked from B&N.com.) “Victor Delgado beat the alien ship to Earth, but just barely. Not soon enough to convince skeptical governments that there was a threat. They didn’t believe that until space stations and ships and colonies went up in sudden flame. And when that happened, only ...

*Book source ~ Local library Earth’s denizens have been moving off Earth and onto mining ships to mine metals and minerals from asteroids out past Pluto. The mining ship El Cavador has spotted something on their ‘eye’ or telescope that is approaching Earth’s system and fast. It could be a comet o...

Really liked book 1 but the sequel introduced an eight year old whose intellect made Ender look like an invalid. It was too much and kinda killed it for me but I'll still finish the trilogy when book 3 is released next year. 2.5 stars.

I feel obligated to go five stars on this one since I compulsively started the sequel about ten seconds after completing this one. It was definitely 4+ stars for me. I thought Ender's Game was great; I thought Speaker for the Dead was a mess; and that's where I gave up on the author. When I read...

Beautiful production of the novel in graphic format, and again, tears flowed from my eyes in memory of such a beautiful tale.

“Saga Endera” to bardzo mocno eksploatowane uniwersum. Po genialnej, absolutnie wspaniałej, wybitnej “Grze Endera” Orson Scott Card napisał około mnóstwa kolejnych części, mniej lub bardziej powiązanych z samym Enderem. Filozoficzne dalsze dzieje bohatera, następnie pokaz towarzyszy Endera, którzy p...

Earth Unaware gets a solid 4 Stars as a SciFi YA adventure despite some minor distractions. This fills in the one big area missing in the Ender Saga, how it all began. We already know what the result of first contact is going to be but the story is exciting, nontheless. Several of the heroes are you...
