A solid mystery/thriller, fast paced and engaging, surrounding a Gold Rush era ghost town. It loses a little momentum late in the game, but Crouch does an overall excellent job telling a tale of how evil echoes from the past into the present.
This is an action-filled THRILLER. It reminded me of the movie Hard Rain with Christian Slater.
