Amazingly different, this series has kept my on my toes, and I love the world he has built. The pictures have just added do much to my enjoyment of the book.

Incredibly dark, especially considering the target age group. The illustrations are getting better for each book. The artwork drives my rating up a star, from 3 to 4. I only wish these books came out faster.

Well worth the wait! This incredible third installment of the Abarat series delves much more into the backstory of the Carrion family.
