This is a second book in a row that I am reading that can't get its story out of its ars.. past. Not that "Sinn" is a bad story, but it's so firmly lodged in "what had happened" that the present suffers. The other book is Lines in the Sand by Lyn Gala, if you're curious. I could easily give it 4.5 stars, if only it were longer with more feels in it. I want my feels, gimme feels, I want to be buried in them! This story had such a potential, but it fell short :( As it is, I can barely scrape 3 stars.

The Risque Blue was one of the most surprising books I've read in a long time. I went into this expecting a nice little love story set in the south that would be an enjoyable read. This was definitely on the shorter end of the spectrum, and it almost had the feel that I'd picked up the story mid-stream. Ginnie dated both Mason and Derrick. She dated Mason at Derrick's suggestion, and while she'd already been in love with Derrick, her feelings for Mason became super strong as w...
