This is one of those slices of life books that depict Ireland between two ages. Not really my mileage but quite readable. Two generations of women find out things about the men in their lives. It's a good read, don't get me wrong, it just wasn't me. It has sweet moments of 1980's school days, ...
Let's say 2.5 stars. It was pretty easy for me to figure out most of where these family secrets were going early on, so it was a little hard to believe that in a small town and as an adult, Lizzie had never questioned them.
