Please note this review has spoilers in it for "Me Before You." So I read the first book in this series and gave it four stars. I didn't like the ending and all of the reasoning for Will deciding suicide was the answer and him having Lou and his parents all standby as he dies. I really thought Wil...
As much as I loved "Me before You", I have to say that the sequel didn't come that close to the first part, in terms of the characters, as well as the storyline, which at some points was a little bit too far fetched for me... Also, Louisa was getting reeeally on my nerves for her lack of capability ...
I am not planning to read this book at all...!! I am under a spell after reading Me Before You and i want it to stay with me forever.. so a big NO.. and to be honest i personally think some books don't need sequels. so for me that was the end of Will and Lou's story and i ll keep thinking different ...
I really enjoyed this book. Lou is finally growing as a person. I doubt there will be a #3 but I would love to see Lou take on New York and how her new relationship blossoms.
Better than the first book "Me Before You", the heroine had a clear character arc and I didn't feel like slapping her silly nearly as often. I like the somewhat ambiguous (for a romance) ending, too. But then, I was distracted much of the time as I listened to this audiobook. We picked it up for ...
3.5 starsI was really disappointed in this book after how A-MAZ-ING book one was. My feelings about After You changed several times while reading it. I didn't like a lot to do with the daughter. I know she was young, but I found it difficult to accept everything surrounding her. When they confro...
Umm. Had it's really great moments. I did the Audible version narrated by Anna Acton, who did a fine job. I listened at the 1x speed. Got bored and tried to adjust speed but even at a fraction higher it just didn't work. Acton sounds much better at 1x. Anyway, the story. Good things. Blah things. I ...
This book is a sequel to the author’s book Me Before You. The story follows the same heroine, Louisa Clark, after the events of the previous book. It’s impossible to talk about this novel without revealing at least some spoilers from what came before. In the book #1, Louisa fell in love, but her bel...
Sometimes I find it difficult to read the sequel to a book I've loved. And I did really love Me Before You. I waited a bit after finishing the first book so I could let my expectations of After You drop to a reasonable level. While After You didn't give me the same emotional punch as Me Before You...
I very rarely give one star rating for a book, but this book deserved nothing more. I might have given it a 2 star if it wasn’t a sequel of Me Before You which is one of my favourites. The problem with this book was that everything in here seemed unnatural and forced, the story, the events and all th...
