by Carolyn Crane, Romy Nordlinger
My review and an extended sample of the audiobook are posted at Hotlistens.com. I read the rest of this series a while ago. I started with book three, Into the Shadows, because that was the review that really peaked my interest in this author and series. I can’t for the life of me remember who it ...
Five years ago, Angel Ramirez gave up safe-cracking and stealing and swore to mend her ways, sick of hurting and using people. Carolyn Crane delivers a thrilling romantic suspense involving an agent from clandestine organization working undercover to overthrow a malevolent crime boss. The heroine is forced to work with hero to prevent a plot to destroy numerous innocent lives.
4 ½ starsAgainst the Dark has a good and balanced dose of humor, suspense and romance. I enjoyed it from beginning to end, so much that I think it's a new favorite book by Carolyn Crane. I can't wait to read Lethal Liaisons.
