Airlie Anderson graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in illustration. She now lives in Princeton, New Jersey, in a farmhouse with a barn that serves as her studio. Airlie returns frequently to her hometown of Carmel, California. Its fairy tale charm and origins as an artists' colony made a strong impression on her as a child. Her award winning books include Ten Little Ducks (Taiwan Best Children's English Language Book, 2011) and Cows in the Kitchen (Practical Preschool Award 2008).
