This manga was a bit confusing since they jump around to different character and have random stuff happen, and also use code words. I have the light novel on order so maybe that will clear it up.
Durarara Yellow Scarves arc Vol. 1 The danger of the Slasher has passed, but the mystery it left behind for the public remains - who was it, why did they do it, and could they do it again? Members of the Yellow Scarves gang are convinced the Slasher came from rival gang the Dollars and are trying ...
The cast list in this volume includes 15 characters. That's a lot of characters to follow. While I found this volume to be a bit more interesting than the first one, it was still confusing and kind of screwed up. For example, we have Shinra. Given a choice between a declaration of love from Celty an...
Mikado is a naive high school student who just moved to Ikebukuro hoping for adventure. His friend Kida shows him around and tells him about people to avoid. Mikado sees an urban legend, the possibly headless motorcyclist, and meets Izaya, a scary guy who had planned on shaking down a couple suicida...
Fabulous final installment of this arc. The mystery of Saika comes to a head as the various threads of the plot wind together in a fairly neat way, while leaving many of the overarching stories going. The characters in this series continue to grow on me every book, to the point where I'm a little bot...
Another great volume, and the stakes are pushed even higher. Plus,l more Celty. Can't go wrong with more Celty in my opinion....

I think this one, because it already can assume we're familiar with the characters, is allowed to dig into the mysteries and the supernatural a lot faster than the previous arc did. That gives it a lot more momentum right out of the gate. It was a quick read, but a rea...
Well, things got more exciting, more funny and more creepy in this issue. Which is to say, it got all around better. This manga series is making me want to go watch the anime
When the licence for this manga was announced last year, I know of quite a few people (myself included) whose initial reaction was thus:“You're releasing the manga, Yen Press? Why not the light novels! And why aren't the Baccano! novels out in English when that show is an established hit?”I eventual...
The characters were compelling, very interesting and varied. There isn't a lot of plot in this book per se - it felt like it was all setup, introductions, acclimating us to the realities of this world as well as the framing devices and the relationships between the characters. This isn't to say it w...
