Alberto T. Estévez is Architect, with double Ph.D. & studies (Architecture and Art History). He heads his own office of Architecture and Design in Barcelona. And was teaching architectural design, theory and arts in different universities, until he found the ESARQ (UIC) in 1996, where he is Professor of Architecture, after being its first Director. He found in 2000 the Biodigital Architecture Master’s Degree and the Genetic Architectures Research Group & Office of which he is the Director. He is also Director of the Ph.D. Program of Architecture of UIC in Barcelona. And has written more than 100 publications, participating in numberous exhibitions and conferences around the world.
