I was born in Venice, Italy, on Sepetember 1962. Graduated in History in the University of Venice, then I became journalist. I have been war correspondent during the former Yugoslavia conflict (1991-2001) and my first book was about it. Starting 2008 I left journalism almost completely, then I write books about History. I wrote ten books, "Bound in Venice" is my first translated in English.I live sometimes in Milano and Trieste, sometimes in Venice, very often aboard on a train.
