So-so readaloud. The fairy tale retelling didn't quite "work," and I didn't like how the Lion's comeuppance was a series of gendered insults - doing his mane/hair up in braids, putting him in a pretty dress.

A fabulous retro throwback to the picture books of my childhood. Only with a better plotline.I look forward to doing a more extensive review when the books are released, and I can enjoy the art. Netgalley for review
