Definitely pick this up for the little girls in your life. It's a teaching experience (I learned some things) and most importantly it's positive. We need more positivity right now.
Perfect to read to a boy and girl simultaneously! Fun writing, funny lines, great, rollicking clash between Titans pirate story, and rewarding, rather unexpected ending. We loved the illustrations, too! My niece, nephew, sister and I all really enjoyed this. Fun to read aloud, too!

My daughter absolutely loved this book. She loves pirates, she loves girl power, she loves quirky fun - making this a perfect fit. I'd probably personally rate it a little lower, but I'm just a fuddy-duddy grown up. The illustrations are cute, the story engaging - can't ask for much more!
