Unapologetic Reader, Psychotic Writer
Beautiful writing, but the plot was too slow at times. I wish the characters had more self-confidence but despite that I loved them. Ali Shaw has created a wonderful world in this book and I am looking forward to reading more of his writings.3 Stars.

This book took me ages to finish. Some parts were a real struggle, but others were great. The ending was a bit of a let down... it was obvious that it would end in tears (and that was well handled) but a double "tragedy" seemed more in keeping with the tale
