Alice Peterson's novels are touching, spirited and hopeful, and at the heart of each lies someone who is not quite like everyone else. In LOOK THE WORLD IN THE EYE, the protagonist has a sister with a disability; in YOU, ME AND HIM, a son has ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). Alice's perceptive and brave approach to these difficult topics comes in part from her own life experience of living with Rheumatoid Arthritis, which she wrote about in her memoir, A WILL TO WIN, now republished as ANOTHER ALICE. In the last two years Alice has had two novels published by Quercus. MONDAY TO FRIDAY MAN is set in the dog walking world of Ravenscourt Park, and Gilly Brown's adventures are bound to put a big smile on your face. Her next novel is out May 2012, called 'Ten Years On'. It's about two characters who lost touch, but meet in unexpected circumstances ten years on. It's moving, funny and heartwarming, and possibly one of Alice's most romantic books to date.
