As an astrologer who studies science and writes for the mainstream Mind/Body/Soul market, Alison has an unusual perspective, making her a refreshingly original and insightful author. After studying at the Faculty of Astrology and the Centre for Psycholoical Astrology she realised that astrology contained the answer to personal and universal questions, and yet was so difficult to understand that few could share in the wisdom. So she set about `translating`astrology's new discoveries into jargon-free, understandable material that includes both ancient spiritual wisdom and science's latest theories. She had quickly realised that the latest scientific discovery made complete sense of the ancient spiritual texts and now brings these two disciplines together in her new brand of Multiverse astrology. Alison's work is for the spiritually curious who like a bit of substance to their reading. Kindred Spirit said "Alison brings together the opposing worlds of science and astrology as if they were 2 halves of a jigsaw and the completed image hits home with a raw and pertinent truth."When not reading Newscientist, Alison runs the Midlands School of Astrology, its large website and regularly appears on BBC radio. She also writes a regular column for the prestigious Astrological Journal and horoscopes for several glossy magazines.Alison will be taking an MA in cultural astronomy and astrology at Lampeter University from 2010. However, her main love is helping clients with astrology readings, which usually take place with a cat on her knee!
