Alison Ross specialises in aesthetics and modern and contemporary European Philosophy. She is the recipient of research grants and fellowships from the Australian Research Council (ARC), including an ARC Future Fellowship.In addition to a number of edited collections, including a 2008 collection on Giorgio Agamben and a co-edited 2012 volume on Jacques Rancière, she has written three sole authored monographs: The Aesthetic Paths of Philosophy: Presentation in Kant, Heidegger, Lacoue-Labarthe and Nancy (Stanford University Press, 2007); Walter Benjamin's Concept of the Image (Routledge, 2015); and Revolution and History in Walter Benjamin (forthcoming). She teaches Philosophy at Monash University, Melbourne, Australia.
