4.5 starsThis is a book in which you live the entire journey of the MCs with them. It takes the straight-until-I-met-you trope but goes way beyond that. It cannot be termed as a pure romance (there is plenty of that, though) but it expands the romance beyond the point of the exchange of “I love you”...
I've lost count of the number of times I've read this book. I love the characters and the story and the humor and drama. There are some issues with POV and other stuff but it's one of those books that I just can't help loving.
I didn't enjoy this book. Watching the MC's husband go through his slow spiral down into madness was a bit difficult to read about page after page. Some of the dialogue was clever, some not. The middle of the book and the ending seemed very obvious and waaaaaaay over long. I don't seem to like Ms Me...

My absolute favorite Meagher book. I reread it on a regular.edited to add: Just re-read it for the BotM, still like it a lot. Although the main characters actually irritated me more this time around.
