Good book. I find her writing frustrating though as there's no opportunity to try to work out who the killer is before it's revealed as it's nearly also a character who is introduced 75% of the way through.
There are great many Kay Scarpetta novels to read. Thus is the third in the series and the third I have read. This is also the last one that I shall read.I was over 300 pages into this book when it became apparent that the protagonist was an unknown character that was dropped into the story. Ver...
Kay Scarpetta has such a fun job. She gets to probe around up close in dead rotting bodies almost every day. Yuck!
