Allan Graham - www.allangrahambooks.comThe first boy, from generations of miners, not to be sent down the coal mines, Allan Graham was lucky enough to win a place at Grammar School where he enjoyed mediocre success at school, preferring rugby and larking about to serious study, but he always had a love of books from a very early age. After 38 tedious years working in I.T. (a career he loathed but it paid the bills) Allan turned to writing. In 2012 he published a play about mediumship called "Spirit". He followed this up by starting the TOM O'KELL series of novels, dark tales of magic, mystery and horror, for young adults, publishing "Tom O'Kell & The Shaman's Drum" in 2013. In January 2014, Allan published "Tom O'Kell & The Brotherhood Of The Jackal". He is currently working on the third Tom O'Kell novel, Tom O'Kell & The Papanuk and hopes to have it complete sometime in 2015.Allan has been influenced by the novels of James Herbert, Dean Koontz , Dennis Wheatley, Arthur Conan Doyle, Rider Haggard to name but a few.TOM O'KELL SERIESThe stories are set in the Summer holidays of 1984, just before children's imaginations were stolen by mobile phones and the internet. 10 year old, Tom O'Kell is a special soul who, unknowingly, stands between the Devil and His quest for Eternal Infinity. The Devil will do anything in His power to destroy Tom and anyone else who dares to stand in His way.Join Tom, and his cousins, Emily and Jake, as they accidentally journey into the OtherWorld via the beat of the Shaman's Drum. Meet their friends, Anaemic Ben, Mad Mick and, Agatha Sparrow who journey along with them in these spine tingling adventures of horror, humour and sadness. Help Tom to find his Dad, tragically killed when hit by a speeding car. But is he dead or trapped between dimensions?Scream in horror in the Land Of Nightmares inhabited by the dark sabre-toothed fairies, the Narcons. Do battle with the Bildrogs and the Miradons in The Graveyard Of The Damned. Run for your life as you try to escape the religious scarecrows from The Church Of The Insane. Visit the dark cottage of the three Satanic Witches, Gildrude, Humphag and Magmuk. They would love to have you for tea - literally. They love nothing more than the sweet taste of children's boiled flesh. Laugh yourself to death with the four clowns from The Circus Of The AntiChrist. Join the Black Magic rituals of The Brotherhood Of The Jackal - I've heard they are very good at making children disappear. Tremble below the giant Owl God, Malodin - now he's a real hoot! Wonder at the miracles of the Papanuk, a Messiah of the Great Chicuan Nation but don't wander into the sinister lands of the wicked Kalamon tribe. The Kalamon don't rely on the bison or the elk as food. No, they're not vegetarian. Definitely not. They are a tribe of sinister cannibals who perform human sacrifices to appease their Devil God - Kinta-Ketzel.Whatever you do, make sure you leave the light on and remember to look under your bed at night. You never know what lurks within the dark corners of your mind. Sleep tight.
