This was a big let down, the story was thin, and the character development nil. I found myself skimming ahead hoping for some sort of excitement, yeah there was none to be found. This is a Cinderfella story of meh proportions, it was a big let down.

Unfortunately this story just didn't work for me. It had a lot of potential, but with the length of the book, everything seemed rushed, characters just thrown in, no background, nothing to make you connect in any way with them or the story.
2 stars. (.5 star for the cute cover that convinced me to buy) This never really built up to the potential the blurb suggested. Too many open threads at the end of the story and I just wasn't convinced in the romance. (though it is book one, so maybe that's why?)
