A pretty satisfying end to a series. It's nice when an author doesn't drag a series out as a cash cow, however I do think this series easily could have had another book or two.
Okay, for anyone who picks up the first and is dubious about continuing? All I can say is keep going. Because this series just gets better and better with each book. By book 6, I was so emotionally invested in these characters, I was whining about their woes to my friend on our walks to the shops.Lo...
WERECAT PARTY AT MY PLACE!!And here's to the new bad-ass female Alpha - who was victorious over her enemies, avenged the death of those she loved, remained steadfast and true and proved that women can look good, be intelligent AND kick ass!
I really loved this series. This book, though, does not get all 5 stars. I liked the ending, I thought everything wrapped up well, no unanswered questions and in the direction I wanted. I do see how she could still write more for this series, though. (But that could just be me being greedy.) And now...
I'm totally in love with this series. Rachel is awesome author. Every pain, every loss makes the book more than a book. But I must say there should've been something about what happened to the Territorial Council after the war, what were the other Alpha's reaction and some insight in Faythe's life. ...
OMG what can I say about this series?! In the end I wanted more but the author tied up loose ends and it was complete. Kudos for Rachel Vincent. It was only until this last book in the series that I realized more about the nature of the werecat. It had a lot to do with understanding the Thunderbirds...
I had trouble getting through this book. I found it to be a roller coaster of emotions. Don't get me wrong I did enjoy it. But I had a lot of trouble not knowing what was going to happen. I was worried she would end up with the wrong guy (Jace) and that certain characters would die (Marc). I am happ...
This series was an absolute roller coaster!! Ultimately I loved it; but there were parts where I screamed, cried, pulled my hair out, chewed my nails , and *sighed*. THAT is what makes a good series brilliant. So worth the journey, but I will never reread it :-)
