I enjoyed this book - but, I am starting to think that no matter how good an older YA book is, if you didn't read it as a child, you can't or won't appreciate it as much as an adult. Just a theory, but one that might apply to this particular book in my case.
WHY THIS IS ON MY TO READS LIST: I love Snyder, but my excuse for reading this at my age is that I'm pre-reading it for my son, to make sure it's not to scary. Yeah. I'm sure you believe that. Beginning of a 4-book series.
Undercooked.Once the story is well under way Snyder develops some interesting parallels between Pamela's fantasy and reality, but it feels rushed.
This a great book! Loved the characters and loved the story.
