Amanda Leigh has just finished her last semester at Pace University. She has a BA in English and Communications. She also minored in Psychology and Creative Writing. She lives with her mom and a kitten named Sawyer - named after one of her favorite characters on the show Lost. Amanda has battled the disease Nephropathic Cystinosis her whole life. She is the author of the poetry and photography collection Thousands of Mornings and the poetry collection Holiday Hospital Stay Poetry Collection 2012.The things that help her get through it are her writing, reading, art, music, cooking and her cat Princess. The people that help her get through it the most are her mom Christina, her dad James and her boyfriend Matt (who also has Nephropathic Cystinosis).Amanda has recently finished a draft of a romance novella and is starting work on a Young Adult, supernatural, thriller, romance novel.
