Amanda hated reading. That quickly changed when her sister started giving her young adult books.Since 2008, she's tried to make up for the tiny list of books she's read, constantly toting a new book in her purse everywhere she goes. She has accomplished reading more than seventy-five books, while being a mother, wife, and photographer, plus countless other titles she's picked up along the way. Her new found love of reading sparked her buried desire to imagine what it's like in someone else's shoes. As a result, she's written her first novel. Armed with a laptop, scrivener, and a glass of wine, she's determined to use every one of the fifteen plus ideas she's outlined for future books. If only sleep wasn't such a necessity. When she's not fighting to stay awake from pulling late nighters, she spends her days encouraging her children to follow their dreams (and to stop playing so much Minecraft), dreaming of photo concepts, photographing families (mostly her own), reading young adult (and some adult) novels, trying her best to eat strictly Paleo, trying her hand at crafts, and fangirling over everything. Just to list a few: Sherlock, Harry Potter, Adventure Time, Game of Thrones, Nickelodeon's Avatar (Aang and Korra!), and movies directed by Tarsem Singh, Hayao Miyazaki, Zach Braff, or Tim Burton.
