A deadly virus called Blustar sweeps the world and leaves 98% of the population dead within a matter of weeks. Two young survivors, Nadia and Robert a.k.a.

* This is a review from the audio book. I'm in a mood. I've been re-reading (which I NEVER do unless it's an EPIC book) too much lately. It seems that I'm out to prove to myself that the books that I read when I was 12-15 years old are actually still good books. It helps that I don't remember ...

Why aren't more people talking about this book?! I love apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic novels, and this is an excellent one. A virus that kills 98% of the population and a teenage girl with her little brother on a journey across the US to their grandfather's supposed safe shelter? It makes for an exce...

I thought the characters were pretty realistic. I really liked Nadia and Rabbit. They had been trained by both their father and uncle for survival. They were able to put much of that to good use. Who knew you could pee on a wound as a temporary disinfectant? Using the mantra "Be the Cockroach", th...

So good!! Read it in one day. I wish there is a sequel------I went into A Matter of Days without any expectations whatsoever. I received this book in a surprise package and when I found out it was a survival novel I immediately picked it up. If you know me, then you know I devour every survival book...
