When Amy Spiegel was growing up, she dreamed of someday writing in a white farm house in her beloved Appalachian mountains, surrounded by animals and lots of offspring. Currently, she is writing in a house nestled among the cornfields of Indiana with one lizard and kids with allergies. Well, one out of five isn't so bad. She bakes a mean coffee cake, has read all of Jane Austen's works more times than is healthy and refuses to acknowledge snow as a good thing. As a Christian woman, she longs to see the Gospel impact her daily living and that of those around her. She is the author of ahcrabapples.com, a blog about life in all it's glorious ups and downs as well as co-authoring the blog wisdomandfollyblog.com with her husband, college professor and author Jim Spiegel.
