Honestly, I just skimmed this. I wasn't feeling it like I do a lot of nonfiction. It had some funny quotes, but eh, just seemed mediocre to me. Maybe if I was a bigger Amy fan. Oh well.
This was a great memoir that read like a conversation between friends. I am glad she focused on herself and her work rather than her divorce. This book was a lot of fun to read. Some of the stories were a bit slow, but overall, they were enjoyable. I was surprised at how down to earth Poehler really is. I look forward to the possibility of reading more books by her, as they should be quite interesting.
This book is so up, down, and all around, it is hard not to love. It is like being inside Poehler's brain.
