this novel has my vote! it is one of the best Amish/holiday stories i have read and i could not get enough of it. sadly, the story had to end somehow and somewhere though and i wish it did not. i love the story, the characters and the book's wonderful message of hope, second chances and forgiveness.
This was a great story about a family who lost everything and learned some great lessons while being forced to stay with an Amish family. A great holiday read that will remind us that 'possessions' don't mean a lot.
