Anne Gracie is one of my favorite authors. When I see her name on a book I know I am getting a great read. Ms. Gracie book have humor, tears, love and great secondary characters. This book did not disappoint at all and I had to read it into the early mornings to finish it...yes another book hangov...

Gracie is generally a fine writer, but I felt she hadn’t really found her voice yet in this book. There are many plot/character echoes of Georgette Heyer's work. It wasn't terrible, but didn't interest me enough to continue.
