In this the third book of the series Ms Harris has upped the stakes. Harper is brought in to ind the body of a missing boy and in the process she finds a total of eight bodies. So, I think this book is where the series started really picking up for me. It was more graphic than the previous two, which is much more my style. The first two felt kind of.. soft, I guess, and frankly just weren't real winners to me. They weren't bad, they just really blended into the crowd.I und...
It has been a long time since I finished the series, and I forgot many details, so I decided to simply review the final three books together. Besides, I would be only repeating the same things if I reviewed each book on its own. What I enjoyed the most about this series were definitely Harper’s ca...
SPOILER ALERT So In this installment of the Harper Connelly series, she is tasked with finding the body of a young boy (assumed dead) after a string of boys have gone missing in the last 6 years. It apparent there is a serial killer pattern and what she finds is gruesome to say the least. The book...

The fundamental error that the murderer made was to attack her, making her stay in the town. It's interesting and Harper and Tolliver's relationship develops in this ...
I love quirky characters and stories that are totally different. I hit the jackpot with this series! As much as I love Harper and Tolliver... the truth is they're weird. This series is part mystery, part semi-paranormal with a little bit of taboo romance thrown in to boot! It's one of my favorites!
My review of all four of these can be found at Harper Connelly Mysteries QuartetAn Ice Cold Grave 5 Stars Okay, first of all, I so called it! There have been hints about Tolliver and Harper getting together, and that finally happens in this book. Harper realized she loved him as more than a brother ...
