First few chapters didn't grab me, but it's possible I just wasn't in the right mood. This one seems to have a somber, philosophical tone. I'm putting it back on my shelf for another day.

This wins the award for most boring book I have ever finished. No, seriously. It was awful. Decent writing but oh so pretentious. What was the plot? What was the point? It was like one giant essay of telling. The detached writing style made me cry in agony. Review to come.
